The Galaxy S6 Edge should work. I personally test and use the app with Samsung Galaxy S3/S5/Tab 3 Lite and S7 devices.
Just FYI the Galaxy S7 includes a USB OTG dongle in the accessories, not sure if this may also be the case for the S6 Edge.
